Wedding Announcement in Paper

Hi Ladies!!I need to put together a Wedding Announcement write-up to send to our local newspapers and I'm stuck!  I should have done this a long time ago, but I'm hoping there will be someone (or a few peeps) who can give me some examples of what should be included...Any help is appreciated!  Thanks!!

    I usually read these announcements every Sunday in the paper because I always end up knowing someone!From what I remember they say something like this to start it out:Jennifer Anjanette S_____ of Concord (add state) and Barry Neil B_____ of Marion (add state) were united in marraige on blank date 2010 at the Sandals Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.  The couples vows were exchanged in a sunset beach ceremony where 20 of their closes family and friends attended. ( some people add something right here about there minister or "christian ceremony". Next paragraph (enclose brides info)The bride is the daughter of_______, of Kannapolis (add state) some people add grandparents in this too.Bride: education backgroud, job status, ect...Next paragraph (enclose grooms info)Groom is son of......same as above.Next paragraph ( should be about the attendants and groomsmen) For ex: The bridal party consisted of close family and friends of the couple. The bride's cousin Rebecca H____ of Mount Pleasant, ___ served as Maid of Honor. (or you can word it as: The Maid of Honor was.....blah, blah.....)Do this for all bridesmaids and groomsmen, flower girl, ringbearer, ect....Next paragraph they usually describe who escorted the bride down the ailse. For ex: The bride was escorted by her father Mr. John _______. She wore a Maggie Sottero gown with a sweetheart neckline and crystal beading ( I hope, hahaha). Next they usually describe any bridal showers or couple showers and who hosted them for you as a courtesy. You can also give credit to whomever hosted your rehersal dinner, and AHR if you would like to. I will be doing this.Then at the end they say: After a romantic honeymoon in the Carribean________(or where ever you are going) the couple will make their home in Asheville ___.O.k. that's the best I can do off the top of my head.     Sarah, you are too funny girl. I think what you put would be just fine too! I guess mine is the extended dvd directors cut version. hahaha.

    I wouldn't think to write all that, either.  Personally, I'd probably buy the paper and copy someone else's.  lol
