Nevada-Las Vegas

Some reviews

Hi- I tried to post the reviews on my bio, but can't seem to access it.  So, here goes:Paris Hotel- A+This is by far my favorite hotel in Vegas.  It is beautiful and centrally located.  We stayed here and so did some of our guests.  It is small enough that you don't have to walk twelve miles just to get a drink of water.  Service was perfect and they went out of their way to be helpful.Border Grill- A+++This was where we had out meet and greet.  It is located somewhere in the ends of the earth (ok it's actually somewhere deep inside the Mandalay Bay).  The place is awesome, the food fantastic, and the service fabulous.  We had the South Dining room and patio and it was the perfect spot for our private party.  It is a great place for a reception.  The staff took great care to make sure that I always had something to drink and eat.  My guests loved it.  Service was so attentive that at the end of the evening, they had contacted secuirty and had a wheelchair escort ready for my sister.  Travis Allen- A+++Wow, he was fantastic!  I hired him for half an hour and told no one about it.  He showed up in his gold outfit and looked awesome and sounded great.  He sang several songs and my guests loved it.  He hung around for pictures.  He is truly worth it.Cake Designs LV- A+++++These guys are pure genius.  I had three cakes done.  One was a Welcome to Vegas design,  another was a grooms cake with an attacking cougar design, and the third was our wedding cake with flowers and butterflies.  All looked fantastic and tasted wonderful.  They did a tremendous job on each, and the price just can't be beat.Michelle from Rosey Posey- A+++Michelle was a doll.  Her flowers were beautiful and exactly what I wanted.  Her prices can't be beat.Kristine Romney- A+I hired Kristine to do hair, makeup and nails.  She was great.  She had a super assistant, Jillian, with her and everything went great.   They were quick to fix anything that the girls felt was wrong with their hair.  Everyone looked awesome.  They brought a manicurist with them, Stacey, who was great.  Everyone had a fun personality which was great since we were together for several hours.Henri Sagalow- A+++++++I love Henri!  We had met in February when I was in town and did my e-pics at the Boneyard.  He is lots of fun.  I told him I was worried about having nice shots (since I am plus sized and short) and he told me not to worry.  He and his assistant Chris were great.  We took shots out at the Vegas sign before the wedding and around Mandalay Bay.  He went out to the Valley of Fire for the wedding and shot the reception as well.  It was a real long day for him, but he made sure we got all the shots we wanted.  Some of the photos are on his blog already!  STARDUST SUTIE at the Orleans- A+++++++++++++++++OMG, this is what a party suite should look like.  Over 2500 sq ft of nothing but party space, and awesomely decorated as well.  This place is superb.  The food was tremendous, which was a relief as I had not done a tasting beforehand.  The service was outstanding.  This was by far the best decision I could have made.  My guests were amazed and impressed.  It was the best party ever.  The Las Vegas Wedding Company- A++The company was easy to work with and really great.  The staff was wonderful.  Our driver/videographer and our minister were a regular riot.  The minister made us feel at ease and he was both serious and funny, which was perfect for us and our group.DJ David  (forgot name of group)- A++I don't have their name available, but these guys were great.  They acted as emcee for the dances.  They played music and then started the karaoke.  Everything was seamless.  My guests had a great time.  I wish I had a video of the singing. The Orleans Bowling Party- A++++This was the day after the wedding.  Everything was great.  We had eight lanes to ourselves.  The pizzas and subs were great.  The service was super.  Fawn, the party coordinator, was always on top of everything.  My guests had an awesome time. Villa at Paris pool- A+++After bowling, we went to Paris and hung out by the pool.  We rented a Villa and bought our guests first drinks.   The service was quick and drinks plentiful.  It was nice to have the private building with ac and courtyard with misters.  We had about 20 people hanging around until after the villa closed and then the pool.  It was great.White Gloves and Black Tie Affairs- A+++++++++++++++++This was the best money spent on my wedding.  Stephanie is a wonderful person and the best WC ever.  She took care of everything, even before I noticed anything was wrong.  After the Mandalay Bay affair, she made sure there was a wheelchair waiting for my sister as soon as she stepped off the bus.  She helped me find some vendors (Kristine and the DJ) and she coordinated with my others to make sure everything was perfect.  I totally love her.I think that is it.  It went by so fast, but it was all wonderful.  Things happened which could  have ruined it- MB affair and the fact that I got tire marks on my dress as I got down from the Hummer- but it wasn't worth going all bridezilla.  I enjoyed every minute of my three day party, and I am glad to say so did my guests.  They refer to it as a very classy wedding which will never be topped!

Congrats!! i wish you the very best! Glad you didn't let the MB exprience ruin your special day :) I am really interested in the suite you rented at the Orleans, I have been looking for a suite to hold 70+ ppl and this one seems like it could! If you don't mind me asking how much was the suite we would need it on a Thurs in April?? Do you know if they are ok with having food catered in from another vendor? Also do you have contact info. Thanks for your help!!

The Stardust Suite is a little over a year old.  It is on the 21st floor of the Orleans, has a panormic view of the strip, and a small balcony as well.  It was awesome.  The regular suite that comes with it is also to die for.  The suite is booked through the catering department and they do not allow outside catering.  There was no rental fee, as long as I guaranteed at least $2000 in food and beverage, which was easy to do with dinner for a party of 50.Kristine Romney has a website that she is putting together.  http://lashvegashairmakeup.com/default.htmlHer speciality is lash extensions.  I believe she used to do hair and makeup at TI.

Hello, I'm having my wedding at the Stardust Suite in October. I thought they said that dj were not allowed up there. Did you really use a dj up there? Did you tell them you were going to have one? Would you tell me how much you paid for your dj? If we can have a dj, it would be great so we don't have to worry about ipods and stuff. Please give me some more info on your dj also. Thank you for sharing.

Hi 2010- I did have a DJ/KJ for my event.  The contract did state that we were not allowed to have a DJ, but they said I could have karaoke.  My wonderful WC went and spoke with several people at the Orleans about the noise restrictions, karaoke and DJ.  She got the ok from the Orleans, and so she found me our DJ/KJ who were called OMT Entertainment.  They charged $300 for 4 hours.  It was great to not have to worry about the whole iPod thing.  The karoke was a tremendous hit too!
