    I totally got your message on Facebook and I totally agree about "the Joan" persona.  I have decided to go with Aimee Carr of Aimeezing Faces.  She is super hands on (I have probably talked to her the most out of all my wedding vendors) and great.  I love her work.  She does both hair and make-up and I was super impressed with her portfolio.  I would get any cut/color/technical hair stuff done elsewhere but she seems to be great with the styling.  Unfortunately, the only time she and I were both free to do a trial run is the week of the wedding.  It's a bit of a gamble but I am pretty confident.  I will keep you posted via facebook!!
