well we had a videographer appointment yesterday, & it went great! the lady's really nice & knowledgeable! she had originally quoted us $500 for the day, for raw footage (with me thinking there'd just be 1 camera)

ends up, so that she can finallize her 2011 schedule, she's offering 15% off if u book by march 15th...so i payed her in full! $425 for 2:45-8pm & that includes 2 cameras during the ceremony too! WOOHOO!

* while we were at the venue, i fnally remember to bring a tape measure so we took measurements of the walls & stuff to get an idea on how to hand the fabric & stuff ^_^

also my sister (MOH) ordered her dress! it's gonna take about 12 weeks to get here though />_O but it's well worth it. it's not 1 we were looking at prior...cause it's new.

it looks so much better on her than the other ones did! she also got her shoes the other day from jcp! so pretty!

now i just need FSIL to order her dress & stuff...

now to finalize the DJ, & i'll be 100% set!!! it'll just be DIYs & payments for the remaining time before the wedding!

That's awesome, Wicked! Congrats!

Since you ordered the raw footage, once the weddings over and all, you might think about contacting a college student and having them edit it for you. Many times, they will work for cheap if you let them use it in their portfolio.

I have several contacts at UArts (DH's cousin is a film student there, as well as a couple of friends from HS), and would be happy to get you some names if you want.

Or, I can get you the names of professors who can refer you to students who do good work when you are ready to have it edited.

Just a thought. Either way, great checks! The dress is adorable!

FI & I play arouns with editing stuff all the time. main reason why i wanted the raw footage. i'm gonna have so much fun making blooper reels! XD
