Good vendors on a budget in NYC (Photo, video, DJ)

Any recommendations for good basic photography (under $2K, dont need album), basic video (under $1K), and DJ (~ $1K) recommendations would be much appreciated! Wedding is in Manhattan, April 2010. Thanks a lot!!

    Duet has a very basic package of photo/video for $3200 and that's including 2 photogs for 10 hours. They are very willing to work with pricing though so check them out at www.duetwedding.com.

    We are using Patken Photogarphers in Lindenhurst. We are paying $2500 for photo and $1500 for video, but I'm sure they can work with you if your budget is lower. We are using Unlimited Entertainment for DJ - I love Eddie, he is great. We are paying $2400 but we have a lot of extras, I'm sure they have a package in your price range. Good luck!

    Hi!   Although I havent picked a photgrapher yet, I am meeting with Jovon photgraphy. they were recommended by The Crescent Beach Club (where I am getting married) and have packages starting at 3,000...hope that helps! Do you have a contact nmae or number for Patken?? Are they good?? Do you like them? Thnx :)

    East End Entertainment might be able to help you with all 3. The photograghy price is lower than 2k, basic video is under 1k, Dj package will be over 1k. All in all it might be in your budget. good luck

    Look at Dan Wagner.  he is amazing.  He just did my sisters wedding.  Not one bad photo.
