It's been less than 4 months and we are still no cloud 9! We went to a place called Chateau Elan for a weekend getaway in Braselton GA ( A vineyard and spa place) We have been there several time before I so thought nothing of it. I love love love this place... During the day he went golfing and sent me to the spa for about 4 hours. After the resort car brought me back to the hotel to get ready for dinner. After I was ready, I was escorted by my FI to dinner in Le Clos. The table was lit with candlles and rose petals.... I should of thought something was up BUT because Mr. Spelman is romantic like that I thought nothing of it. Or maybe I just was THAT blind to the fact of what was about to happen. We had a our app & our entree when the wheeled out a cart of desserts and wine. They were all covered with silver covers..( I guess that was to throw me off) and One by one the waiter lifted them. When we got to the very last one my honey said..."It's your favorite dessert ever" the waiter then uncovered it and I saw a BEAUTIFUL ring ( in a tiffany blue box yay!) sitting on a bed of pink rose petals with this red (strawberry) syrup written around the plate saying "Will you marry me R? I was so busy staring at what the plate said that I did not even seen Mr. Spelman get up and come get on one knee in front of me. He says I sat in shock...but I don't believe him...lol The rest of the night was fillled with wine and yummy desserts. The next day we met up with my best friend and her FI and called family!!
