STD Range? or just Wait??

So our wedding is somewhere between Sept 17th and Sept 29th this year. Because weddings here in Colorado are popular during these last two weeks in September, we are still trying to find a venue. We've almost narrowed it down and should get a date picked out in the next week but I'm super stressed about letting our family know. Several of our family guests are from out of town and some know our date range and some don't. Can I send out STD with a range or should I just be patient and wait another week or two? It's less than six months away so I'm freaking out!!! Thanks for your help!

I would be patient. I wouldn't want to save the date one weekend and then have you call as soon as I get the STD to tell me the date is different.

You can have it all set up and ready to mail, like the envelopes can be addressed, but I would wait til you have venue and date set.

Wait until you know the solid date, and then send immediately.

I would hate getting a Save the Date and feeling like I have to block out a two-week period of time to attend someone's wedding in another state.
