Hey ladies! I found this adorable outfit for my ring bearer to wear, but I'm not sure if people would think it's weird. He'll be five years old by the time the wedding comes around. I would like it better if it was long pants and if you ditched the hat. If you and his mom agree on it, though, go for it. He's a little boy, he'll look cute no matter what. I'd try department stores or Burlington Coat Factory for a jacket. Or ebay (either a used jacket or an eBay Store that sells kids' wedding outfits).

Thanks mbcdefg! I wanted something a little different than just a tux, but I wasn't sure about the hat myself. His mom loves the hat, but I don't know if I do.

I think the hat makes that outfit. Otherwise it is just wierd pants and suspenders with the hat it becomes obviously newsboy ish

But you hate the newsboyish look, so why would I want the hat to make it look newsboyish? It honestly hadn't occurred to me that that outfit looked like a newsboy outfit until you pointed it out (don't know why). Did anyone look at the second link I posted later?

No I do not hate the newsboy look at all. I just said a jacket would ruin the outfit. I kinda think it is cute in the correct context. Yes the first thought I had was 1920's newsboy but that is not a bad thing persay.

newsboy outfits and eatons suits are noth cute in differennt context. Eaton being dressier in my mind. Eaton fits an english garden style wedding newsboy fits an art deco 1920's style wedding. It depends and honestly a little boy is going to look adorabe in any of the options Newsboy, eaton, regular suit, or tux
