I need ideas for our favors

So we have these little mini tequila bottles and this little mini clay cups they're called 'jarritos' in spanish.  Anywho I need an economical way of wrapping the tequila bottles and hanging the mini cup from it.  I tried doilies that I got from the 99 cent store, but they were too small.  I think I need something that's 12" in diamater...I thought maybe tissue paper would be the cheapest thing... what do you guys think?Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

What about that clear wrap stuff that they wrap gift baskets with? Then you could get some cute ribbon to tie it shut and use to hang the cup from. Michaels always has cute ribbon spools for $1.

I have the ribbon part, I got some from michaels that was like 3 for $1.  I just need to figure the actual material for the wrapping part.  Our bottles are similar to the 'El Jimador' one in this pic: http://tinyurl.com/ybhs6lcAnd the little mini cups look like this:http://tinyurl.com/yd72xer

I couldnt see the cup pic but the bottles are cute. Think about using that clear stuff. I went to a wedding where the favors were shot glasses and they wrapped them in that stuff

Thanks I'm glad you like them! I'll keep an eye out the next time I go.  We also didn't purchase one per person, more like one per family.  Do you think I should just leave them on the tables w/ the name of whose it for on there? or have someone pass them out? or have a table w/ the favors?

I would put them on each table with "xxxx family* on a tag or something.

I would label them because a favor like that will go fast if you just put them on a table some people might even take more than 1

What about using a fabric in your wedding colors?  You can use one color for the fabric, and a different color for the ribbon.  You can buy the inexpensive fabric and it won't rip or tear when you try to wrap the favors.

The name of the clear stuff is called cellophane, and they also make different size bags out of it so you don't have to cut it at all: http://tinyurl.com/ykg6ku3You might even be able to find colored ones, or some with a cute print on them, to match your wedding theme! http://tinyurl.com/yhpbsa4http://tinyurl.com/ygkte97I was wondering, how big are the cups?? I was thinking it could be cute if you could sit the bottle inside the cup and wrap it like that. And I agree with pp that setting them on the table with labels saying "xxxx family" would be best for letting your guests know its 1 per family.

Thanks for the ideas ladies!  I was thinking of the fabric squares but than I wasn't sure what type of fabric to use so that the edges wouldn't be frayed, because I definitely don't want to take time to sew all the edges.  The little cups are pretty small cuz I thought of that too, but the tequila bottles are too big for them. :( I like the idea of the labels.  I was gonna add a 'thank you' tag anywho so I'll just put the names on the back side.

I know this is super late.. but as I was reading through, I was wondering, are you only going to wrap the bottle in the plastic baggie? or put the bottle in the jarrito and wrap both? I think wrapping both would look nice also, and you -and the recipient will not have to worry about loosing a jarrito? ;o)In regards to the "thank you note/ family name" I was thinking maybe you can personalize a small message. I am doing something like that also. I am using the Avery Labels and printing messages in one side (personalized to the family... with another label in the back of the card that has our new address for people to have... I don't know why but I really liked that idea, I guess it's like the first time people will see both names as one... PS. I love the tequila idea! In my family that would my family well also since we're tequila loves too! (My dad grows agave plants in Jalisco)
