  Good luck.  It'll probably be a really good thing having the appointment on Friday since we've had so much rain, they'll notice any leaks or drainage problems more than if it were dry.

  Yay! Ditto what Jaime said - take advantage of the recent rain and make sure your inspector checks the roof/attic for leaks, the basement for foundation cracks/leaks/moisture, and walk around your yard to see how soggy it is and if you need some drainage. Since we bought our house in Dec, we didn't get a chance to check for rain problems, and that is what just cost us about $15k to fix!

  GL with the inspection. They are great things for the most part. Ours found a HUGE heating problem which the sellers were forced to fix since it was a health hazard. Keeping my fingers crossed that nothing bad shows up at the inspection (or a lot of little things for that matter).
