The Post Office Sucks.

Today I pick up the mail after work and what do I find?  A bound stack of the wedding invitations I sent out Sunday night sitting in my mail box.  Apparently, 44 cents is not enough to send them out, even though the invitation designer told me that they fell under the 1 ounce mark. Grrrr!!!  How many of them are going to come back?  Because I know that some people have already received theirs.  SIGH!

    I had some concerns about that too, my FI and I had ordered customized stamps that were 44 cents and then I double  checked and we ended up returning those and ordering 91 cent stamps, so much more expensive. Ours were 1.4 ounces I believe but the reason it was that much more expensive is because of the shape of our envelopes, the were this particular kind of square shape. We got one invitation back so far but it was because the address was undeliverable. Sorry to hear you had that many returned. I hope it didn't ruin the invitations.
