a July wedding in an old stone church in the south of France, followed by an outdoors h'ors d'oeuvers reception and an indoors formal dinner?

    Are you the bride?? Or are you going to this wedding as a guest? Sorry, I just wasn't sure.
    If you are a guest, since it's France, for some reason I see tea-length is a pale kind of color - pink, green, blue. With maybe flowers on it.

    As a guest?  I'd get a summer party dress from Jcrew.  they are nice fabrics and prettybut not over the top.  Maybe in a chiffon.
