    I can't say anything about Verdi's - I've never been there - but it sounds like you have a fiance problem, not a venue problem.  Why on earth did he book a venue without talking to you?  How is that even remotely okay?  Is this the kind of person you really want to marry?  Venue is one of the most important decisions you're going to make about your wedding day, and he decided it was okay to choose one without you - that is so far from acceptable it's scary.
