Escort/Name Cards

Do you put Mr. or Mrs. on the escort/name cards for guests at the reception?Would the card read Mr. John Doe or just John Doe?Does it matter?

    I don't think it matters, but has more to do with the formality of your wedding. I didn't want the reception to have a stuffy vibe, so I did NOT use titles. GL and HTH!

    I will not be using titles at mine. Especially because some have the same last names.I'l be putting first and last. Or first name with last initial...not sure because my name cards or whatever you want to call them are going to double as my favors.

    We are having a smaller and less formal reception so we are just using the John Doe.  But if you are having a fairly formal affair I would use the title with the name.  Good luck!
