  i'd post on your local board; under $3 is difficult in our area (i'm in rockland) but possible if you are flexible.

  Try looking into Ferry Huang Photography:http://www.ferryhuangphotography.comI love his pictures and he's definitely under $3000.  Just do an inquiry on his website to see how much he charges for traveling.He travels to wedding locations so I'm sure he'll travel to New York.  Good luck!
