Outdoor Venues

Anyone know of any good outdoor venues in HR? I would prefer something on the water. I really don't want something very expensive, under $1000. I have one picked out but I'm not sure if it will still be around for my wedding date. Thank you.

    How many people are you having? The Sandbridge in VA Beach is pretty good for smaller weddings.I would say the Rockefeller in VA Beach, but that's definitely expensive.Have you looked at maybe going up to Colonial Williamsburg? If you're getting married in the off-season, it would definitely be cheaper.Meh I haven't been to HR in a while. I lived in Bad News when I was a kid.

    I am having my ceremony at Flora Point in the VA Zoo. I know it doesn't sound exciting, but it is a beautiful rotunda set back in the Gardens at the zoo (far away from the animals). The charge is less than $600 for admission for your guests, seating and venue. The staff closes off the area so other zoo visitors cannot interrupt your event. There is also catering available. We are serving lemonade and sweet tea. I'll try to post some pics for you in a sec.

    argh... can't pip. they also have a rose garden and conservatory. They are both beautiful.
