We just watched it last night! My H loved it, really thought it was great. I thought it was sad in a lot of places, but overall cute. I didn't really think it was for kids though, it was pretty serious at times with a lot of grown up emotions and content.

Yeah, I have absolutely no desire to see that movie. Then again, I really don't like animated movies in general, so it was a no-brainer.

I had no desire to watch it so my husband watched it on his own last week, he hated it. He said it was only funny in one part through the entire movie.I think hes just getting old and cartoon movies dont appeal to him, he thinks the movie just sucked.

Fische - when the dogs fell, it showed them swimming in the water below so you would know they were fine. But yes I totally know what you mean. It was just too much for a kid's movie. And that's coming from someone who watches them all. My H and I don't discriminate so we watch stuff like Up and Ice Age, and I want to see the new Princess and the Frog movie that's coming out.

Well, there's the whole dog thing. It's a pixar movie, so it's supposed to be geared to kids, and it's just not. It's terrifying and horrible.It's not cute, the kid was annoying, it was more sad than anything, and it was just...all around disheartening. The last 5 minutes were the best, and they were mediocre at best.Actually, the best part of the whole DVD was the five minute cartoon about the clouds making babies.

I agree that it's actually scary for kids. I mean, the villain actually tried to kill the kid in the movie. But it was still very good, and FI and I thought it was pretty funny, as well.

The dog is SUPER CUTE and so is the bird and they try to kill them the whole movie. THEY TRY TO KILL A LITTLE KID. There's nothing funny about it. I can't think of one time I laughed, not one! Now Bolt. BOLT is a good movie.

Yeah, one of the dogs actually bites the bird so hard that he can't walk and it oozes blood and the little wilderness boy has to bandage it and it bleeds through the bandages. Yeah.
