Ceremony Sites in the Jackson, Mi area

Does anyone have any ideas on good ceremony sites in or near Jackson, Mi? We don't mind having a church or outdoor ceremony but we're both not apart of any church and usually you need to be a member to have a wedding there. We are planning on having a family friend to officiant. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

I've looked into Hidden Lake Gardens which is my top pick but they are holding a fair there on our wedding date. I also heard some things about Ella Sharp. Recently I was told about someone who had their ceremony at Cascade Falls, does anyone know information about that?!

HELP!!! =)

Cascade was going to be my suggestion, though I don't have personal experience.  Here are a couple of links about weddings there:

Hidden lake is super nice. so is cascade falls manor, but they do make you have your reception there, they won't just let you do the ceremony. Waterloo farm museum is a neat location if your looking for a vintage style wedding. I've heard of people doing weddings at Mcortie park in Somerset.

I am from Jackson, and we don't belong to a church either, but there were several that would allow us to get married there. We are getting married at Calvary United Methodist, but I know Bethal Baptist and First Congressional Church will also allow you to get married and use your own officiant. But out of the places mentioned above I would do Ella Sharp. You can get married in the garden or the gazebo and the greenery is where you could have your reception. (it didn't hold enough ppl for us) Also at Cascades that have the same type of setup with the gazebo (however they are kind of pricey and didn't hold enough for our reception).

If you have any more questions just ask!

Sure, what exactly are you looking for?  They all were around $800 and held 300+
Here is a link to some of their websites, with contact info, and some pics of the church.
