We met with a florist today who thought it would just be way too shmaltzy to incorporate the light (robins egg/aqua) blue we've been planning on incpororating the whole time.
Now we're worried that (especially w/ our small budget) it'll look to chintzy to keep our color scheme.
We're planning on red bm dresses (some have been purchased), red shoes for me, red ties for gms but Fi wants light blue tie.
I know it's a bit unorthodox and a while ago I would have been ok with scrapping the light blue, but at this point I feel so committed to it being our personal schtick for the wedding.
I've also been planning on using a red maple leaf - for invites & other places.
No one else we've talked to - today or up until today - has balked so much at our color scheme.
Yet I understand it might look odd in the pics with the red shoes & blue tie.
We thought red flowers + light blue ribbon would make it work but the florist we met w/ today didn't seem to think so.
Thoughts?
