What happens to the food?

What happens to any left over food/h'or dourves after the wedding?  I am really hoping all that food doesn't just get thrown out...

    Good question! I guess ask your caterer? Maybe some throw it away and some donate?

    our caterer said they have to throw everything out by law... because if anyone gets sick eating it the day after then they don't want to be liable.. i'm discussing with them if we can write up a contract to take a few non-liquidy things at our own risk... u can try that route? let me know if it works for u!
