I always find it hard to thank people that give money.  How exactly did you do it?  Please let me know.  Thanks!

    It was so lovely to see you both at the wedding. We were so happy that you were able to come celebrate our new marriage with us.  Thank you so much for your generous gift.  We are in the process of saving for house/new furniture/kitchen remodel and your thoughtfulness will help make that possible.  OR Once we are settled into our aparment/house, we'll be doing some decorating and your thoughtfulness will help make that possible.
