Need budget honeymoon ideas!!!

FI and I are getting married on July 22, and want to go on our HM immediately after for 5-7 days.  We have a pretty limited travel budget (both just graduating college), but do NOT want to do a cruise.  We want to stay at $1500 for everything excluding airfare which will be covered with credit card reward points.  Some place beachy is appealing, but we also want kind of secluded and romantic.  I was looking in to Secrets Capri and it is pretty doable since its AI, but can anyone recommend any other options to consider?  Thanks in advance!

PS- I have always wanted to swim with dolphins, so if you know of any place where that is also available, that would be awesome!

  • Check out the Couples resorts. It'd be around $1800 for 5 nights and it's all-inclusive. I would also look into going to a travel agency, they will help you get the best deals.

I have always used this site when searching for all inclusive resorts. Without airfare, you'll need to keep the price at or below $108 per person per night to hit the $1500 mark, and there were quite a few when I looked. Just search around for different areas. Some places are obviously more expensive then others (like St. Lucia). HTH! GL! =]

Not to thread jack or anything, but have you actually ever booked through this site?  My FI and I have been looking around on it and the deals seem really great, so I just wanted a 'personal' testimonial if your bookings went smoothly or anything.
