Centerpieces

Hi Everyone!
I am getting married in October and doing a vintage/fall theme. I am trying to save money by not using flowers in the centerpieces. I need help with some ideas! My color is red along with fall colors. I would love to do a DIY centerpiece because I love crafts but also wouldn't mind something that is not crazy expensive but still tastefull. Any ideas!!??

You might want to buy inexpensive table runners in fall colors for the center of the table for a pop of color and scatter leaves (artificial if you don't have access to real ones), and fall colored votive candles in clear votive holders. I have successfully preserved leaves before by putting them between 2 pieces of waxed paper and ironing them to melt the wax onto them. Carefully remove the waxed paper when they cool down.  You could also include those tiny pumpkins scattered in with the leaves as well as pinecones and/or acorns. Think of the first things that come to mind that you associate with fall. Good luck!
