Newly engaged in Delaware

Hello! I have been engaged for a month or so now, and feel completely overwhelmed with planning already. I want to have a big but budgeted wedding. My Fiancee would like to go to Vegas if I said yes, but is happy with what I want. We have picked the date to be May 11th 2013 and that is about it so far. I have picked my maid of honor and plan on having my daughters who are currently 10, 8, and 6 to be in the wedding.

    I know I'm a little late, but congrats on your enagement!!  I too am a Delaware bride with a wedding date of May 11, 2013!  I'd be glad to help with any questions I can.

    Congratulations!  I am from Delaware as well and recently engaged.  Since my finance lives in Georgia, we are having a destination wedding.  With all that said, I contracted an event planner because I did not want to be overwhelmed with planning small details.  Have you thought about doing the same?  Have you gone to any bridal expos in the area?
