Reception venues in the midcoast area?

Hello girls,

I was originally going to have my wedding reception at the Kennebec Tavern in Bath, Maine, but it looks like it is going to be way too tight of a fit with our guest list. I am having my wedding ceremony at Fort Popham in Phippsburg, does anyone know of a reception venue in the midcoast area that would fit closer to 100 guests?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The Maine Maritime Museum in Bath is pretty and can hold that many. We looked at it and liked it a lot, but it seemed a little expensive, since you have to hire a caterer. http://www.mainemaritimemuseum.org/about/facilities_rentals.php

Or you could do a tented reception at the Stonehouse Manor right near Popham. http://www.stonehousemanor.com/weddings.html

The Holiday Inn in Bath might also host events, but I'm not sure.

I have also heard of people using the Bath Country Club, although I haven't looked into it yet.

Stonehouse Manor is beautiful as well. :)

I'm looking around the same area, so if I come up with any other ideas soon I will let you know!

The Bath Country Club is almost in West Bath, so kind of far from Phippsburg. Also, it went into foreclosure and is now bank-owned and for sale, at least it was as of March. They may still be doing events, but I'd be hesitant to book something a year out, because it could change hands or close altogether.

ETA: Actually, it looks like the bank is planning to run it next year, not sell it: <a href="http://www.timesrecord.com/articles/2010/09/13/news/doc4c8e49fb71b27598968748.txt">http://www.timesrecord.com/articles/2010/09/13/news/doc4c8e49fb71b27598968748.txt</a>
