Old Testament readings for interfaith ceremony

Hi Ladies!

I am having an interfaith ceremony- my fiance is catholic and I was raised religiously ambiguous by  my catholic mother and jewish father.  Although the ceremony is in a church, it will be co-officiated by a deacon and a rabbi with no mass.  I would like to do two readings from the old testament, as that would be appropriate for both faiths.  Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Here are my suggestions..

I just purchased a great destination wedding book where this two readings were recommended. The book was great it has a 20 page section about putting together the ceremony. It also provides specific ceremony outline for interfaith ceremonies (Christian and Jewish)

Genesis 2:18-24 or GENESIS 1:26-31 or Song Of Songs

    2:8-10, 14, 16a; 8:6-7a

I think the site is called flytomywedding.com..

We are using a passage from Ecclesiastes.  I like the Song of Songs reading as well.

We used Song of Solomon 3:4 and Ruth 1:16.
