And I thought 300 guests was a lot....

So, I met this girl at work yesterday who is getting married in Nov.  We were discussing our weddings and she told me that she has 650 people coming to her wedding!  So many people that they have to have 2 separate rooms for the dinner, and they are doing 2 head tables, and will go back and forth between the 2 rooms so everyone can see them.  Craziness.

    What?!?! I dont think I even know 650 people!

    Is she of Indian decent? I've only heard of wedding that huge within Indian families.

    No, she's as white as white can be.   Sweet little midwestern girl.

    I guess both families are huge, and both her dad and her fiance's parents both own their businesses and are inviting all their employees. 

    I just want to know how you determine who gets to sit in which room?  The least they could do is get a venue big enough for everyone to be in one area.

    I don't even want to know what they are spending on it.

    Jeeeeeeeeeeeeez! What a headache. My FSIL had about 250 people and she said she barely had time to enjoy her own wedding because there were so many people who wanted her attention throughout the night. I can't even imagine with 650! No thanks!

    Yikes!! Even if I could afford that (which I'd never be able to do in this lifetime), I don't think I'd want that.... Way too much involved in that big of a wedding. No thank you.

    Omg that's just pure craziness!!! How would some thing like that be organized??? She puts my 90 invites to shame lol I couldn't even handle being in front of that many people.
