Illinois Beach Resort/How to make a beach "handicapped accessible"?

I'm having our ceremony on the beach and need suggestions on how to get the few elderly people actually ontothe beach toget to their chair. A big thing they've told me is that they want to spend one last day in the sand, even if they sit in the back.

I don't know anything about construction, but is there somewhere that you can get long walkways that they can use to get them in their walker/wheelchiar to their seat?

I'm so lost, but it means the world to me to make their dreams come true.

Thanks knotties!

My ex was in a wheelchair.  I actually took him in the sand in his chair once and it was really difficult.

I think the best thing would be for you to call the resort and ask for their help.  I would think most resorts have probably had at least a few accessible need guests in the past and they may have some helpful suggestions for you.
