Spiffy is so wise.

But really. It's a lot less harsh for us to judge a television personality that puts himself out there than a bride who's doing her best to have the wedding of her dreams. I know it's not as "proper" to drink beer out of a bottle, but you do what you gotta do. I think when you turn 21, you're opinions on lots of things will change.

Katelyn, I don't drink beer either. I've maybe had 2 sips in my entire life, but you're being very hypocritical calling girls who drink beer out of bottles trashy while telling us we're in the wrong for judging David Tutera's weddings based on what we see of them.

No sky writer or pastel chairs. Fail.

Is drinking beer from a plastic cup acceptable? We'll most likely have a keg or two. I wonder what he'd think of a keg at a wedding.

There are scenes where it can be acceptable to drink straight from a bottle or can. But at a wedding it looks very trashy for a bride to be walking around drinking from a can or bottle. We will also have a keg but all drinks will be served at our 2 bars and in glasses. That's the proper way to drink beer at a wedding in my book and David Tutera's

Thanks Melissa. I do think they went too far but it happens. I don't care if people judge me I get it a lot and I think it's dumb when age is brought in but again people will judge just for the heck of it. And thank you for backing up my point. It just looks awful

I've drank lots of beer from lots of cans and bottles, so I must be super trashy.

Really though, while I agree that drinking out a glass as opposed to a can/bottle is more "proper", not proper does not automatically equal trashy. I mean, by that logic, drinking soda out of a can should be considered trashy. I don't see how the liquid in said can or bottle should change the image. I mean, I consider drinking straight out of the bottle/carton improper whether the liquid in question is whiskey or orange juice. Not that anyone on here has said this, but I feel like some people (in general, not on this board) consider beer in itself trashy. Beer is no different from any kind of alcohol--there is cheap beer and nice beer, just as there is cheap wine and nice wine and cheap liquor and nice liquor.
