In Between Banquet Courses

So, we are having a Victorian/Chinese fusion wedding where the dinner will be a traditional Chinese 10 course banquet. I am afraid my guests will be bored with just eating or too stuffed if they stay seated too long. What can I do in between the courses other than a game for the centerpiece? I would love to hear some ideas.

Re: In Between Banquet Courses

  • At the typical Chinese wedding I've been to, the bride and groom typically plan games in between courses and it seems pretty fun, no?  Especially if you have many attendants that are not Chinese, they will be quite intrigued by the food itself and then the typical games.  If your family and you are ok with it, you could also do the traditional tea ceremony during one of the breaks.
  • Thanks. What kind of games were olayed? We are planning the tea ceremony in the morning.
