Hi fellow Ontario Knotties!

My name is Amanda and I live in Barrie (about an hour north of Toronto). My FI and I got engaged May 9 2010 and are planning to get married in May 2011 in Punta-Cana, Dominican Republic! Even though I won't be getting married here in Ontario I'll be doing all the planning, shopping, and even an at home reception here. I'm looking forward to meeting all of your and getting your help (and hopefully helping others!) with planning!

Congratulations!! I got engaged pretty recently and we are planning a destination wedding too. Still trying to figure out where to go, either Mexico or Dominican. We went to P. Cana for vacation 2 years ago and loved it! Happy Planning! Have you chosen your resort yet? There are so many to choose from it's overwhelming! Look forward to chatting with all you ladies!
