PSA: Marquee Sale

Just got an email from Marquee. They're having a sale this Friday from 10am-3pm near their back loading docks. Cash only.

Here's what they listed that would be on sale:
Red Adirondack Chairs
Candles
Vases, Multiple sizes and shapes
Kids Toys
Lighting
White Picket Fence
Candeliers
1 time used carpet for an event, misc. colors & sizes
30x30 full white tent liner with curtains
Manzanilla branches
Floral supplies
Crystal trees
Chandeliers
Tons of table cloths!

    Hildee, I talked to my friend, who owns one of the biggest planning firms in Austin, and she said this is the first time Marquee has done this sale. They usually also have  a late summer rental sale. Anyway, she said it is likely to be PACKED, so I plan on getting there early. Too bad all my friends will be at work or we could tag team..

    oh crazy. we're going out of town tomorrow leaving early so i'm not going to be able to go :( you'll have to tell me how it turns out...maybe i can make it to the next one.

    I'll post all about it, especially it it turns out to be a big free for all. A friend of mine did agree to go with me, and she's way better at decor than I am, so I just hope I am bringing enough cash!

    I got enough tablecloths and overlays for 10 guest tables, 3 cocktail tables, the escort card/gift table and the cake table, along with about 20 assorted vases for $250. Most of the tablecloths were either $5 or $10. Some of them have blemishes, but we found 10 matching overlays, so they cover any blemishes on the undercloths. Included in that total was a large inflatable palm tree with a monkey in it for $10, which was a gift to my friend's 3yo.

    The friend that went with me ended up with some folding chairs for her back yard (nice wooden with padded seats in assorted colors) for $7 each.
