Silk Rose Petals?

I want to have flower petals thrown when we leave the church as husband and wife...do silk rose petals look real enough to use??? or do they look too fake???

    I used silk for my aisle petals (and my DOC ended up putting some on our tables also).  They looked fine but I am not sure how well they would toss in the air to be honest.  I got fresh petals to toss.

    I would imagine they would float more than fall in comparison to real petals.  If you want to see it maybe try it out at michael's by opening a container of them and throwing a few?  I know people have opened them before in the store to feel them and things.

    well the reason i would get real ones is so that you dont have to (or assign someone else to) pick up all the silk ones-- of course if this is outside. So if you use silk ones you would def be litering.
