Earrings, necklaces and headpieces

I said yes to the dress, and it turned out to be an organza fluttery ball gown with zero bling on it. I paired it with a blingy sash and will be wearing a chiffon flower and pearl headband. I am currently trying to figure out what style if any jewellry should be worn with this pairing..

What are you accessorizing your dress with? What style of gown are you wearing?

this is good stuff...i just posted about my hair, which you have figured out LOL

i have a smiliar dress, its a sweatheart neckline droped waist dress with chiffon ruffled bottom. I'm doing an offbeat theme of rock and roll so I'm wearing some drop orange crystal earrings I bought off a vendor on etsy (i'll look for a pic) I bought an orange crystal bracelet to match...have not decided on a necklace yet, will probably decide after I figure out what I'm doing with my hair/veil etc

I'm wearing this jewelry set (earrings, bracelet, necklace). I wanted something simple and elegant and she has pearls/crystals in so many colors. She was great to work with and made a set tailored to what I wanted. Highly recommended!

ladies those are both beautiful pics.. ok here are some links to my dress and accessories:

so with some big statement pieces, can i wear drop earrings? Im thinking pearl would be best to help balance the airiness of my gown, but perhaps i need a touch of bling to relate to the sash?

[QUOTE]i love the idea of adding some bling to the back since the sash detail and headband are in the front.. but will it be too much? http://www.etsy.com/listing/108335934/backdrop-necklace-pearl-necklace-wedding?ref=sr_gallery_18&ga_search_query=back+drop+necklace&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=CA&ga_ref=auto1&ga_search_type=all&ga_facet=back+drop+necklace

I have been wondering the same thing. I am a big earring person (chandelier, not hoops) and it has always been my go-to look when I want to be glam. My wedding gown is a very glam Pnina Tornai, and I have a crystal studded veil. I always assumed I would have just a clip in the back of my hair so that I could get some of my trademark earrings, but I fell in love with a jeweled headband.

Since I am going to have so much sparkle, I got a much smaller pair of earrings that are gorgeous but much smaller than what I would have originally chosen and now I am having second thoughts.

Has anyone ever seen a crystal headband, crystal veil, lightly sparkly dress and big earrings done tastefully? Or is the headband with the earrings just too much on the head?

k, this is good.. I'm glad to find there is another bride that has chosen a blingy headand who is insanely trying to curate the right look for her wedding day jewellry.

I know ill have to bring some prop jewellry to my boutique and try my dress on again, but still, through countless image searches, it seems that most brides do big earrings and veil or headband and no other jewellry (or small jewellry).

I don't want to overdo it, but I will not rest until I have the entire outfit figured out.. well in advance.
