</div><div>I would tread lightly here, just because the wedding is supposed to be a happy occasion and a big memorial in the middle can put a damper on everyone's good mood.  I lost my dad last year, and I am carrying his handkerchief with me at my wedding.  I am already going to be remembering that he isn't there, and I will be sad about it.  Making some public display of his absence is just going to make it worse, and I don't think it would be to kind to my brothers, my mom, and my dad's sister either as it might make them sad or uncomfortable.  </div><div>

I think you should remember them in your heart.  If you are marrying in a Catholic Mass, you could include something such as "For those we've lost," as part of the Prayers of the Faithful.  Other than that, I don't have any other suggestions.  This is a wedding, after all, not a funeral or a memorial service.
