    I think it's too fancy. Are you doing reception outside too?

    I think if you love it then you should go for it!  It may be fancy but I don't think any bride should settle on a gown to match their venue!

    I don't think it has the *feel* of a garden wedding.

    With that being said, if I were a guest, I don't think I'd ever really notice or care if the bride's dress didn't match the environment.  Unless maybe the entire thing were jewel encrusted and the wedding was in a barn or something.

    If your reception is indoors, this is perfect. It's not overly lavish and formal, so it should be fine for a garden wedding, also, though it's not what comes to mind when I think of garden weddings.

    The dress is pretty but looks rather formal.  I think it would be fine as long as the reception is formal, which you can still do outdoors.

    I think the dress is beautiful, and I agree with PP that most people wouldn't notice that your dress doesn't completely match your environment (unless you were going way out of the box with it).  I think what you have chosen in a good fit for having an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception.

    It looks a little too formal/wintery for a garden wedding, in my opinion. But maybe that's because of the style of the photographs. Typically, when I think of garden weddings, I think of less "bedazzeled" dresses. 

    idk.

    However, if you've tried it, and LOVE it, you'll make it work. :)
