Hello ladies, is it just me or do you feel overwhelmed and anxiety over your wedding.? For me it getting close but yet still kinda far. although I've accomplished some things I still have a never ending list in my head of things to check off. We are receiving huge financial support from my parents but there are still things we are paying for. Sometimes I can't wait to see our fun money spent on other things than just the wedding. I hate complaining and i feel blessesd, but do you ladies ever feel a sense of " whew can't wait to just be married " and go back to being a normal functioning person in society lol!

I hear you... I look around my house and it is such a mess, a combo of wedding stuff and home projects that have been put on the backburner. Feels like everything I do, outside of work, has to do with the wedding, and if I don't have anything to do -- I freak out because I must be forgetting something! I miss thinks like cooking, baking... I miss carbs... I am really, really just looking forward to our honeymoon so we can relax and get back to being normal people again!

I really don't plan as much as I used to. But when I was on hyper wedding planning mode, FI asked what I would be doing after the wedding since all I was doing was wedding planning. He said I was going to be bored. I assured him that as soon as the wedding was over I would occupy my time house huntjng, then decorating purchased home once we find one, then babies! I told him I had enough girly things to occupy myself for a lifetime lol

YES!!! I feel the same way!! And my room is a mess due to all the wedding stuff I am storing in it!!! We are also starting to work on our future house since it is starting to get a little warmer and it needs a ton of TLC outside!

I'm with you also! I feel totally checked out for a while. Which stresses me out, so I further check out. I feel like I'm always behind or I'm going to forget something or who KNOWS!

I have my moments. I try to do it in spurts so that I take 1-3 days and get a bunch done, then take the rest of the month off.

It is hitting me lately. I feel like I have a bunch done but then when I have a moment to myself I freak out thing what am I forgetting. We are paying and doing everything ourselves and although he has been great help it is mainly me calling and researching things. I had a moment this morning when I thought of my signature and figured it is going to say 4 months and X amount of weeks in less than 2 weeks.

I'm becoming overwhelmed again. I finally am getting into my DIY projects, but the table runners are going to take longer than I planned. My mother can help me, but not until summer vacation because she works in a school. I have to book the florist, but I just keep putting off emailing her. I have to cut almost $500 off the proposal and I am nervous for a negative response from her! Okay... just breathe... I can do this. So close, and yet this wedding is so far away!

I have my moments. Things are quickly falling back into place which is nice and we've gotten a lot accomplished. I'm stressed over money since we are paying for everything ourselves.

It's kinda weird but I am feeling no axiety at all! Right now everything is going smoothly and getting done on time. Now that's not to say that things will start to get crazy. I think getting some big checks out of the way are making me feel good! lol

I can def relate. When we first got engaged, we did a lot in a short period of time. I haven't done anything really wedding related in weeks, and now I am starting to get anxiety over the rest of the things that need to get done. I need to get my butt back in gear and get back into the swing of it.

Everyone asks me what am I excited for and I say the day after the wedding.

It will be nice to be spending your life with your best friend, being normal, and having fun again! I think the biggest stress is the whole DIY. I am glad we are saving a lot of money but it is very stressful and time consuming. (especially because he is the one who wanted the 350 person even when I wanted something small or to elope) < unfortunately he doesn't like to help much with the whole DIY part either. ugh. Hang in there it will all be worth it in the end.
