This is just scary! Just a heads up to anyone who may have stayed at Aria. The claim is it's also been an issue since the Aria opened.

It's becoming a breaking news story now.

It is mostly due to air conditioning. I think it leaks out from the big units and gets into other pipes and stuff. It is generally non fatal unles you have a supressed immune system. A healthy adult would be A OK after some antibiotics, someone like me or the elderly or children though could die!

I think that it is ridiculous though that they took 10 days from the last documented positive test (July 4th) to contact people! They obviously check every 2 weeks on a Monday which is good to hear that they test so frequently!

Eb- I think that was the Vdara. But on the whole, the city center was clearly poorly designed.

NY- The death glare I believe Eb is talking about is the curve of the Vdara building makes the sun hit it at on odd angle, and was literally burning people who were lounging by the pool. Like really burned.

JFC. That's insane. It's too bad because it's such a beautiful area and took so damn long to build...

I don't think I would necessarily avoid a hotel because of an issue like this (unless it's bedbugs ::shudder::) because these things happen. Plus, after they're found, they're usually more dilligent at keeping the hotel clean... (hopefully)

It seems like City Center is having some bad luck. I saw on the news the other day they were given an ultimatum to decide what to do with the Harmon. Either deomlish it or rebduild it.

The Harmon has become a very expensive billboard.The "viva Elvis" sign has been there forever. I don't like the city center at all. Vegas isn't supposed to look like a downtown metropolis. The other thing that irks me is the half built hotels. Especially the framing for the St.Regis that's just stopped on top of the Venetian. It just looks bad. The Fontainbleau also looks lik a big blue mess.
