homemade props fo r engagement pictures

We are going in September to take engagement pictures. I am thinking about Gruene. Does anybody have ideas for props/posters I can make before we go?

    we bought a chalkboard from michaels and wrote lovey-dovey things on it

    I recently did a bridal session where I had the bride bring some of her fiance's things so we could get creative. She brought his cowboy boots (which looked so cute - and HUGE - with her dress), one of his golf clubs and a Dallas Cowboys jersey, which she slipped on right over the dress! The results were so personal and darling.
    You don't have to really make anything, but definitely think about your first date, things you like to do together, inside jokes the two of you share, etc. Thinking about those things that make you a unique couple should really get your brain working towards some great ideas!
