Booking the Honeymoon: Should we use our current names or married names?

Hi! First of all, Happy New Year!!! 2011, woohoo!!!

Ok, now... My fiance and I are booking our honeymoon for July 2011. I'm thinking that we should still book flights and lodging using our current (unmarried) names because those are the names on our credit cards and driver's licensees. Is that right? I'm not sure how it works once we sign the marriage certificate. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes book everything in your current name. Just dont go change your name through Social Secrity and DMV until you return.

Always book under whatever name your IDs are under!

My SIL got into major major trouble for this at the airport then through customs..it was a mess because she used her married name!

Even if you have a gap between the wedding and honeymoon, I would book in your current name. Changing your name on everything can take time so you don't want to have to rush.
