My reviews of local venodrs

Hello, I normally shared on the NJ Board, since my wedding was in NJ.  The DH and I are from NY, Queens and the Bronx.  Many of our vendors are from the NYC area, so I thought I would share my reviews.  I will post professional pictures when they become available.

V's hair lounge (A+) located in Ridgewood, Queens - Vita the owner, traveled with her staff to my hotel. She arrived as promised at 7 am. She set up in one of the rooms. It was Vita and two other hairdressers. They did my hair, two mothers, four bride'smaids, and one flower-girl. The make-up artist, Loraine, is part of V's Hair Lounge. She did all our make-up. All our hair styles remained in tact and flawless!!!! The make-up was perfect! I only had to touch up with my lipstick after eating and drinking. They delivered the look I dreamt of. We all looked like stars!

Jerome Florist (A++) located in Bronx, NY- Our flowers were delivered to the hotel at approximately 10 am. I loved my bouquet. The florist is Lou and the bridal consultant is Tess. My favorite flower is Peony. They were not in stock (out of season) for my wedding date. Tess found these amazing roses that were similar to the peony. They really understood the look I wanted to achieve and made it happen. I felt such a comfort with them. They really got me. The pew bows were beautiful, the runner was delicately placed in the church, the floral arrangements for the escort cards were great, the table arrangements were gorgeous.

Your Cinematic Wedding (A+++) Michael, WOW! He was such a professional, funny, insightful, and great guy. We wanted wedding video, but could not decide on who. A bride on TK had provided a link to her wedding video done by YCW. I cried as I watched this stranger's wedding video. The DH and I arranged to meet with Michael, he had us at hello. We liked his approach and his work, so we booked him. He arrived punctually 1030 am at the hotel. He was able to film us girls getting ready, and was able to go to the guy's room and film them. He worked well with my photographer. He was not "in your face" during the wedding, but he was there All in all, he was awesome. When my video is finished I will share more.

My Red Knot (A+++) Yunika, owner and photographer. We booked her because she is great and shoots with a journalistic style. The DH and I are not very comfortable in front of the camera. There are obviously picture that require posing, which we did. She also arrived at 1030 am as promised. She was like a ninja, quiet and everywhere. I loved that. I was given a sneak peek at some of the images she was capturing and LOVED them. She was also able to shoot me getting ready and my DH.

RK Bridal(A) - I purchased my dress here and loved the customer service. They did all the alterations and it fit like a glove.

Alexandra Boutique (A) - located in Forest Hills Queens, NY- The bride's maid, purchased their dresses here. They were from the Dessy collection. The girls IMO, looked great. They said the dresses were extremely light weight and comfortable.

The Men's Warehouse(A) Since there were over five guys renting tuxedos, my DH received a $400 credit for the store. He was able to buy a tux with this credit. This was best for him, because he was able to do all the alterations he wanted so the tux fit him perfectly.

Thanks for the review. I bought my dress at RK Bridal and was wondering about alterations. Glad everything turned out well.
