wording for kippot?

Hi,

When I list our names in the kippot for our wedding, should I use my maiden or married name?

    I don't think I put our last names on there, come to think of it.

    I think I just had Shoshana & Adam's Wedding and the Hebrew Date

    we used last names and i used my maiden name.

    I've seen all sorts of ways - there is no right/wrong, it really depends on what suits your fancy.  I'd write all the combos you are thinking, print it out, and see what your eyes are drawn to.

    You can also, if you are using benchers or have other things for the wedding, such as programs, to use your maiden name if you don't do so for the kippot.  For our kippot, it was easier just to use his last name without having the inside look so crowded.

    Jeni, we ordered ours from Mazel Tops.  We (and everyone else here who has used them) had great experience with them in terms of speed, quality, etc.

    We got ours from the woman who did our invitations.  We wrote the wedding of bride and groom last name.  I just noticed that there are several other brides getting married on Sunday!  Mazel tov to all!

    Hi everyone! I don't know if you will check this board; but i ordered the kippot from Mazeltops; but they don't do accents and my first name has an accent on it. I am lost because I don't understand how an accent cannot be done and my name is not the same without it. We could use our Hebrew names; but no one except the rabbi and our respective families know them so it may look like it is some else's wedding. I suppose we could say:
    Wedding of
    Smith and Smithereen
    2 Cheshvan 5771

    I am bummed...any ideas?

    So after several emails and not al so pleasant... we decided to go with:
    Forever and Eternity (this is a saying that FI and I tell each other a lot)
    Wedding of
    Jeni and Olivier
    October 10th, 2010
    Date in Hebrew

    I will think of a way to put that accent on there if I have to stitch myself! I'll let you know when they come in; but several people have recommended Mazeltops; and I did get immediate response.
