Dress Pressing

I've seen some of the older posts that recommended Dublin Cleaners. Which location is the best to go to for wedding dresses or are they all pretty much equal? Are there any other recommendations? Thanks!

I can only speak for the location I used which was the one near I-270 in Dublin. They did a great job. I would assume the prices are the same at all the locations or people would figure that out and go to the cheapest one.

Was it the gown preservation you had done here, or have it cleaned/pressed before your wedding? I'm trying to make some arrangements to get my dress unwrinkled or whateveer before my actual wedding (it will be taking the long 9 hours trip in the car with us in its bag to Ohio) and was actually thinking about calling them because I'd read something positive about them before.

I actually used them for both. I didn't have to travel with my dress, it was in Ohio the whole time at my Grandma's house. I dropped it off on a Sunday and picked it up on Thursday or Friday afternoon. Our wedding was on a Saturday.

Definitely call them and find out how long it will take especially since the crazy busy wedding season is probably upon them.

<div>I used the same Dublin Cleaners for pressing/steaming before the wedding and cleaning after the wedding. As a heads up, I put mine in the Monday before the wedding and they said it would be done by Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. Well that would have worked out great, but it wasn't ready until Friday afternoon. I picked it up and noticed it the main flower on my dress wasn't completely pressed and because it was done late, the people who do the steaming had already left. I was almost late to the rehearsal because the dress was done late, and I had to sew open the petals of the flower while getting ready for the wedding the next day.</div><div>
</div><div>I would put your dress and veil in late the week before so it will be ready with plenty of time to spare.</div>
