Marrige License Questions

We are having a friend get ordained to marry us and I just want to see if any one knew if that was legal in Kentucky? I know some states are strick on this which is why I was curious if anyone who lived in Kentucky would know. If you could give me any information I would be extremely greatful!

    yes, its legal in KY to my knowledge.  Check with the County Clerk in the county where you will be married to be absolutely saure.

    I would call the County Clerks office and ask before doing anything.  A lot of laws change and it may have been fine a few years ago but not now.  Good luck!!

    YES!! My fiance's father will be marrying us. But you will have to get your own marriage license, and if you want premarital counseling, you will have to find someone to do that as well.
