Rule of thumb for bouquet size?

I am struggling with figuring out the bouquets and wondered if anyone knows if there is a "rule of thumb" regarding size in proportion to the dress as well as the size of the bride.  So can't get my head around this!

    She hit the nail on the head. Mine was huge! And my bridesmaids were smaller. Doesn't matter. Have fun with it!
