Forever Stamps?

Let me get this straight....I think the stamps that I purchased for our RSVP envelopes are NOT forever stamps. I got the two interlocking rings.  What will happen to the RSVPs once the price changes...?
Forever Stamp Fact Sheet
The Forever Stamp first went on sale in April 2007. Since then, more than 6 billion Forever Stamps have been sold.As the name suggests, Forever Stamps can be used to mail a one-ounce letter regardless of when the stamps are purchased or used and no matter how prices may change in the future.Forever Stamps are always sold at the same price as a regular First-Class Mail stamp. Forever Stamps are currently being sold for 41 cents and will be sold for 42 cents starting May 12, 2008.The Postal Service developed the Forever Stamp for consumers to ease the transition during price changes. There is only one Forever Stamp — it features an image of the Liberty Bell.Forever Stamps are available for purchase at post offices nationwide, online at usps.com, by phone at 1-800-STAMP-24, and from Automated Postal Centers and ATMs. They are sold in booklets of 20 and sheetlets of 18.Customers can use Forever Stamps for international mail, but since all international prices are higher than domestic prices, customers will need to attach additional postage. The value of the Forever Stamp is the domestic First-Class Mail letter price in effect on the day of use.For media use only, an image of the Forever Stamp is available for download at:www.usps.com/communications/newsroom/2007stamps/forever/welcome.htm">www.usps.com/communications/newsroom/2007stamps/forever/welcome.htm">http://www.usps.com/communications/newsroom/2007stamps/forever/welcome.htm

The price of regular postage is not going up, it's staying 44cents (this is what Forever Stamps are).  But other rates are going up, like 61cent letters will now be 64cents

Are your RSVP envelopes big/heavy enough that you need a $.61 stamp?

FYI regarding Forever stamps: The post office is coming out with new wedding and party themed forever stamps in April.  Nothing too crazy, but one of them is going to have white roses (I believe) and the other says "Celebrate" or something like that.  Just sharing in case anyone wants Forever stamps for invitations and RSVPs that don't have the Liberty Bell on them.

Those  are only the 44 cent stamps.. they don't make forever stamps for the extra postage.. so if an invitation is over 1 ounce, you need to use the additional postage stamps...and they only one they sell is the wedding cake. (right now they are 61 cents, soon they will be 64 cents).

Yeah, I wasn't talking about extra postage.  I was simply referring to invitations that only require a regular first-class stamp and the response card envelopes.
