VENUE IN COLUMBIA

Hi everyone! I need suggestions for my wedding/reception venue. We are expecting around 300 to attend, and I would prefer it to be indoors. Also, we would like for it to be pretty affordable and for us to be allowed to use our own caterer (unless there's is super cheap!)

I'm in the same boat right now and Columbia doesnt seem to have a whole lot of venues.

Hello, take a look at 701 Whaley if you haven't already. They allow you to use your own vendors, and you can decorate the space any way you'd like, I'm having my reception there in May, it will definitely accomodate 300 people.

River center in Shaluda is BEAUTIFUL.

We are getting married at 403 Northlake and I wouldnt suggest it for 300 people

Have you look into a hotel? The Hilton Columbia (http://www.hiltoncolumbia.com/) is a great choice. I’ve been to one there and it was great. The hotel block was made there and at the Hampton Inn Columbia Downtown Historic District (http://www.hamptoninncolumbia.com/) for price reasons. I stayed at the Hampton Inn and I definitely recommend it.
