Ceremony/Reception @ Same Venue: 2nd Line in the Streets?

So we're planning to have our ceremony & reception in the same location in the FQ. (We haven't picked out a venue yet. Have a few more to tour.) I still would really like to have a 2nd line in the streets.

How could this be done? Any ideas ladies?

    You second line as you are leaving your reception, have it as the last dance and second line out the door.
    Whoever said it was supposed to be happily ever after is a big fat liar.

    We did what meganb recommended, but you could also second line out of your ceremony, giving the venue time to reset everything before returning with your guests from the streets.  I've seen it done both ways.  With leaving at the end of the night my parents were really worried that most of the guests would have gone home by then, but we didn't have that problem at all.  People stayed and LOVED it.

    We had our wedding and reception both a Latrobe's in the FQ and had our secondline between the wedding and reception. Everyone loved it and really got people in the mood to have fun and party.

    I'm secondlining out of my reception to Bourbon Street.  My dad's friend has a balcony where we are going to have an after party.

    Our wedding and reception are both at the saint louis hotel.  We are second lining from the reception to Pat O's for an after party!.. You will need a permit and police escort, I believe, though.
