Hello everyone,
We are looking for a large italian restaurant to use for our ceremony and reception. Needs to be big enough to hold about 140 people. We looked at Il Cortile and SPQR in little Italy. The food at Il Cortile was very good but we are concerned about having a large enough space. The upstairs room at SPQR is very spacious and set up perfectly for events but we have seen some not-so-good reviews of the food/service online.
Anyone have any suggestions or has anyone been to weddings in either of these places? Or is there another location that would be good? We're looking anywhere in Manhattan or possibly Brooklyn.
