Hey Knotties!

Does anyone have a creative idea for where/ how to hang their wedding gown and bridesmaid dresses, the day of? I will be getting ready in my home and do not own a clothing rack...where should I hang the dresses, so the photographer can get some good shots?

Usually the photographer only photographs the bride's dress and he or she should be able to come up with something creative.

If you get lingerie hangers, you can hang your dress by a window and behind it cascade the bridesmaids dresses.

Use a nice hanger (basic wood or one of the cute ones on etsy) and your photog should be able to find many places to shoot the dress.

Let your photographer worry about this. They will usually move the dress to ensure they get the shot that they want. Doorway, window pane, lamp post outside -- they will find something.

The only thing you want to consider is having a nice hanger to enhance the photo.

Back of a door, on the door of a closet, on the headboard of a bed. There is plenty of places for it to be shot at. Ask your photog for suggestions.
